Nine online publishers and three research companies have partnered to form an Interactive Advertising Bureau committee dedicated to issues relating to Latino marketing on the Web, the IAB said last week. Peter Blacker, vp of international and U.S. Hispanic interactive marketing at America Online, will chair the 21-person IAB Hispanic Committee, which plans to conduct research in an effort to educate advertisers and shops on reaching Latinos via online ads.
