As part of a broad organizational restructuring aimed at improving marketing coordination across its brands, Hyundai Motor Company has named a new global chief marketing officer, effective this month.

The South Korean automaker promoted Thomas Schemera, former evp and head of product division, to CMO and head of its customer service division. He’s taking over for former CMO and evp Wonhong Cho, who’s now heading up a newly established brand strategy support division.
