It took only the weekend for Hyundai Motor America to find its new CMO. The carmaker announced today that it would be replacing Dean Evans, who stepped down on Friday, with Angela Zepeda.

Zepeda comes from Hyundai’s agency of record, Innocean USA, where she served as senior vice president and managing director, handling all of Hyundai’s creative and media operations. She will oversee all of the brand’s marketing and advertising efforts in the U.S.

“Angela is a dynamic and accomplished marketer with an impressive depth of experience across the entire marketing spectrum and will be an outstanding addition to our leadership team,” said Brian Smith, Hyundai Motor America’s chief operating officer in a statement.
