Houston Scores U.S. Chocolatier

Houston Helm and Co. has gotten a sweet win. The Los Angeles agency recently picked up The Bach Corp.’s J.S. Bach Classic Chocolates’ account without a review.
The South Pasadena, Calif.-based company expects to spend approximately $1 million on advertising and marketing over the next year.
Houston Helm is helping Bach redesign the packaging for its varieties of imported Belgian chocolates. The client and agency are also discussing strategic marketing ideas for a national rollout of J.S. Bach Classic Chocolates, according to agency president Greg Helm.
A U.S. launch “will likely start in the 11 western states and gradually expand,” he said.
A trade and consumer print campaign is slated for early next year.
