A client representative said the company is focusing on other strategic issues and will handle the account on a project basis at least until the summer before deciding whether to relaunch the review. The company would not say who would be handling projects. Sources said DDB Needham Dallas has completed a radio assignment and Muller + Co., Kansas City, is also being considered. Both agencies declined comment. Also vying for the account were T3, Austin, Texas, and Barkley Evergreen & Partners, Kansas City.
PEOPLES ENERGY NEARS AGENCY DECISION
CHICAGO-Peoples Energy Corp. is nearing the conclusion of a review for its advertising account, currently at Foote, Cone & Belding here, a company representative said. Desiree Rogers, vice president for corporate communications at Peoples Energy, declined to identify contenders.
