Arnold Makes Anti-Smoking Cut

BOSTON—Arnold has advanced to the final round in the review for a 10-year, $80-110 million anti-smoking initiative from Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Minnesota, along with Crispin Porter + Bogusky, Miami, and Carmichael Lynch, Minneapolis, sources said. Arnold is pitching out of its San Francisco office. Stu Cooperrider, creative director of the Arnold outpost, previously fashioned award-winning ads for the Massachusetts Office of Public Health Tobacco Control Program while working at the agency’s headquarters in Boston.

Clarks Taps Phillips for Bostonian Brand

BOSTON—The domestic unit of British footwear company Clarks has tapped Phillips Design Group in Boston for design and marketing duties on its Bostonian footwear brand, a Clarks representative said.
