Quorn Foods Accused of Misleading Labeling
BOSTON—The Center for Science in the Public Interest, a consumer-rights group, has filed a complaint with the U.S. Food & Drug Administration against Quorn Foods, a manufacturer of meat-substitute food products. The group alleges the company “deceptively” labeled the line of products a “mushroom-based” food, even though the food is derived from a different type of fungus.
