Obie Award Winners Donate Prize Money

ATLANTA—The winners of the Outdoor Advertising Association of America’s 2001 Obie Awards are donating their prize money to relief funds aiding the victims of the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks in New York, Washington, D.C., and Pennsylvania. BBDO Canada in Toronto, which received the best of show award for its DaimlerChrysler Jeep work, has chosen the DaimlerChrysler Help the Children Fund. In New York, thelordgroup, winner of best billboard single for Major League Baseball’s Authentic Collection, has selected Engine 22 and Ladder 9 fire companies as the recipients of its prize.
