Y&R Bows New Work for Jaguar X-Type

NEW YORK—Young & Rubicam this week unveils a new campaign for the launch of Jaguar’s X-Type, a new entry-level sedan that competes with the BMW 325. A new TV spot blends contemporary music with sleek images of the car, sources said. The effort also includes print ads and billboards, which borrow images from the TV spot, said sources. The theme: “The new Jag generation.” The new model also is being promoted via Jaguar’s sponsorship of Janet Jackson’s world tour.
