Trumpet Tops Addy Awards in New Orleans

NEW ORLEANS—Trumpet Advertising was the star of the 24th Addys competition here, winning both best of show awards and 22 Addys, twice as many as the No. 2 agency, Peter A. Mayer Advertising. Trumpet took best of show in broadcast for its “Bureaucratectomy” spot for The Oath and best of show in print for its “Vultures” ad for InsideNewOrleans.com. Seven of Trumpet’s Addys recognized the shop’s work for WeMedia.com, a New York-based online organization for disabled people. Other winners were: Charles Dolce Advertising (six awards); Spar Inc. (five awards); Bah Group/Bahroux Interactive, Designs By Word, Graham Group, Keating Magee, Morrison Productions, Phillip Collier Designs and Zehnder Communications (four awards each); Biggs Design and Jaye Parrish Design (three awards); and Power Plant and Times Picayune (two awards). Duke Creative Marketing Solutions, Fiveash Design, Franklin Southland Printing, Harrah’s New Orleans, Logan Marketing, Marks Paper Co., Noya Design, Rum Productions, Studio Mundi, Top Guns Inc. and Touro Infirmary were all single-award winners.

Orlando Agency Adds Caribbean Accounts

ATLANTA—Yesawich, Pepperdine & Brown has been awarded the advertising and marketing account for the Association of Nassau Resorts. Billings for the account, based in Nassau, Bahamas, are estimated at $2.5 million. The Orlando, Fla., agency will create advertising and promotional programs for the five-resort association targeting first-time visitors to the Cable Beach area. The shop has also won Nassau’s Radisson Cable Beach Resort account. Billings are undisclosed.

Mail Boxes Etc. Taps Ohio Consultant

CHICAGO—The Rojek Cutcher Group is handling the review for Mail Boxes Etc.’s $20 million advertising account. The Columbus, Ohio, consultancy has not yet sent out questionnaires but plans to contact shops shortly. The client expects to make a decision in July.
