Liberty Mutual Taps Kirshenbaum
BOSTON–Liberty Mutual here has chosen Kirshenbaum Bond & Partners, New York, to handle its $27 million advertising account, client representative John Cusolito confirmed Friday. The three-month review started with questionnaires being sent to 10 shops. The contest came down to two finalists: Kirshenbaum and N.W. Ayer & Partners, New York. Incumbent Wells BDDP, New York, will close its doors next month.

GGT-Assumma Arbitration Ongoing
NEW YORK–Former Wells BDDP chief executive Frank Assumma’s arbitration against the agency, its parent GGT Group and other unidentified parties is progressing, with hearings expected to be completed by June, sources said.
