– Microsoft Readies Windows 2000 B-to-B Work
NEW YORK–Microsoft will launch its much-anticipated Windows 2000 business-to-business campaign this week via McCann-Erickson/A&L, San Francisco, with a benefit concert and print campaign featuring user testimonials. The estimated $100 million campaign kicks off Feb. 17 with a concert in San Francisco featuring Santana. The roughly $150 million consumer campaign is expected to follow within a few months. Microsoft this week also introduces two new Windows 2000-specific TV spots and supporting print ads as part of its Business Internet campaign, introduced in mid-December.
