Bay Networks Selects Contenders
NEW YORK–Bay Networks in Santa Clara, Calif., has selected approximately 10 shops to compete for its $15 million ad account, sources said. Among the shops notified by consultant Michael Marsak of Effective Marketing Strategies in Marina del Rey, Calif., were: J. Walter Thompson and Mezzina/Brown, both in New York, as well as Boston-based Ingalls Advertising, according to sources. Marsak confirmed selections had been made but would not disclose the list. Agency executives declined comment.
