Littlefield Launches F&M Bank Campaign
DALLAS–Littlefield Marketing & Advertising, Tulsa, Okla., is launching its first work for new hometown client F&M Bank. A newspaper, outdoor and transit campaign kicks off this week, showcasing the six-branch, locally owned bank with the tag, “You have our undivided attention.” Billings are estimated at less than $1 million annually. Littlefield vice president and account supervisor Teresa Slagle said the customer-service creative angle looks to position F&M as the “Nordstrom’s of the Tulsa banking market.”
Hallgren Takes Stuart Bacon Account Post
DALLAS–Stuart Bacon tapped former DDB Needham Dallas and The Richards Group account executive Bill Hallgren for its newly created account services director post. Jim Stuart, chairman and chief executive officer of the Fort Worth, Texas, agency, said Hallgren’s experience in the packaged-goods, retail and restaurant sectors will help “fortify our agency as we set our sights on steady growth.” Hallgren will also be involved in new business development.
Gugel Gains Famous Dave’s Media Business
DALLAS–Gugel Advertising was tapped as media planner and buyer for undisclosed markets of Famous Dave’s of America barbecue restaurants. Headquartered in Minneapolis. Famous Dave’s operates 22 sites in Minnesota, Wisconsin, Illinois and Iowa. Billings were undisclosed. Other restaurant clients for Gugel include Cici’s Pizza, la Madeleine French Baker and Cafe, Schlotzsky’s Deli and El Chico.
Image Bank Acquires CD-ROM Illustrations
DALLAS–The Image Bank here entered the computer art market last week when it purchased Madison, Wis.-based Artville, a publisher of royalty-free illustrations on CD-ROM. Artville will operate in Madison as a TIB subsidiary, complementing the parent company’s core business of photographic images. Terms of the deal were undisclosed.
Grapevine Mills Selects Meltzer & Martin
DALLAS–Meltzer & Martin Public Relations here has been retained by Grapevine Mills to handle public relations for the Mills Corp.-owned shopping mall in Grapevine, Texas. The agency will develop local, regional and national programs for the Metroplex-area shopping center located north of Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport.
Vollmer Lands Shell Chemicals, Kaneka Jobs
DALLAS–Vollmer Public Relations, Houston, gained marketing and public relations work from two local chemicals firms, Shell Chemicals and Kaneka Texas Corp. Billings were not disclosed. Vollmer will coordinate public relations for the launch of Shell’s Kraton, Cypar and Polybutylene Peel-Seal products. For Kaneka, Vollmer secured marketing and public relations duties involving branding, direct mail and trade shows.
