Bay Networks Renews Review

BOSTON–For the second time in less than a year, Bay Networks in Santa Clara, Calif., has called an agency review. A contest for the networking company’s creative assignment last year was scrapped, and the account was reassigned to incumbent Euro RSCG Dahlin Smith White in Salt Lake City. Both creative, handled by Dahlin, and media, handled by Freeman Associates in Wellesley, Mass., were put into play Ãlast week, said a company representative. Dahlin has declined to participate, though Freeman is expected to defend its portion of the account. Bay Networks is looking for an agency with global marketing expertise and is not using an outside consultant in the current review, the representative said. Total annual billings were estimated in the $10-12 million range.
