Former G2 Advertising co-creative director Holly Hood has joined Italia/Gal Advertising as creative director/senior vice president.
Hood, who worked on Mitsubishi at now-defunct G2, Huntington Beach, Calif., will oversee the creative department at Italia/Gal, Los Angeles.
“We had a couple of creative group heads over the last 12-18 months … but we decided to consolidate creative under one leader,” said Ken Gal, agency chairman and chief executive.
The hire follows the departure several weeks ago of creative group head Joe Bui, who took a job as creative director at Kalis & Savage Advertising, Pacific Palisades, Calif.
Hood also put in stints at Bozell, Los Angeles, and Dailey & Associates, West Hollywood, Calif.
