BOSTON Home Depot is in the final stages of selecting two public relations agencies: one to handle marketing communications and one to handle corporate communications, according to David Sandor, a representative for the Atlanta-based client.

Consultant Jerry Swerling of Swerling & Associates in Malibu, Calif., is handling the review, which is expected to conclude in early March.

Sources said Ketchum Public Relations, Porter Novelli and Weber Shandwick are finalists on the marketing/communications side, while Manning, Selvage & Lee and Edelman Public Relations are still on the list on the corporate communications side.
