BOSTON Digitas has won relationship marketing chores for The Home Depot following a review, the client has confirmed.

The independent agency here has been tapped to handle mainly interactive chores and some direct maketing by the Atlanta-based retailer.

Omnicom Group’s DDB in Chicago had previously handled the assignment.

Sources said Digitas adds at least $10-20 million in business.

“We know that interactive, direct and new media will be important parts of our marketing initiatives for driving retail, and we see identifying an agency with a strong track record of success and expertise in this area as a natural and logical step,” said Roger Adams, client senior vice president of marketing, in a statement.
