ATLANTA Home Depot has signed a “category exclusive” deal with Discovery Networks, the home-improvement retailer said.

Previously, the Atlanta-based chain sponsored the show While You Were Out. The new agreement extends Home Depot’s relationship to include Trading Spaces and its two spin-offs, Boy vs. Girl and Family, in addition to While You Were Out.

The store will also advertise on the Discovery channel, Discovery Home & Leisure and BBC America during shows that target homeowners, a company representative said.
