Hill & Knowlton Adds Trudel in New York

BOSTON WPP’s Hill & Knowlton has hired Mary Trudel as senior vice president and head of the New York office’s consumer marketing and consumer technology business.

Trudel reports to Marilyn Castaldi, general manager of Hill & Knowlton New York.

“Mary has had a long and successful career in marketing to consumers. She adds tremendous senior bench strength to our team, especially in business development and strategic consulting with clients,” said Castaldi. “We believe that her consumer marketing expertise is particularly valuable in integrating our offerings to clients across multiple sectors and specialties.”

In her new capacity, Trudel will oversee the marketing communications and consumer technology practices. Renee Yosco retains her position as director, New York marketing communications practice, and Martin Blair retains his role as director, New York technology practice.

Prior to Hill & Knowlton, Trudel was at independent Ruder Finn, where she was executive vice president, managing director of the strategic communications group and evp of consumer healthcare during 1995-2003. Her clients at that public relations practice included AT&T, Reebok and Sony.
