SAN FRANCISCO__ Hill, Holliday, Connors, Cosmopolus here has named former J. Walter Thompson exec John Geoghegan president, according to sources.
Sources said a contract has been signed and Geoghegan will start in several weeks. Geoghegan, 44, was general manager at JWT San until March 1997, working on the Sun Microsystems, Sunsweet Prunes and Baby Ruth and Butterfingers accounts.
When Geoghegan left JWT, he took the position of CEO of CareGuide.com. a San Francisco-based resource for childcare and eldercare services.
