Agencies wanting to submit work for the inaugural Sammy (Southeast Award for Magazine Excellence) have until this Friday.
The awards were created by the Magazine Advertising Representatives of the South (MARS) in Atlanta to recognize great campaigns that included magazines as one of the media components.
To date, the fledgling effort has received strong support from the local ad community. Sawyer Riley Compton created the call-for-entries mailer, and the follow-up will be handled by The Morrison Agency.
