NEW YORK Havas today said Jim Heekin, chairman and chief executive of its global Euro RSCG network, has resigned. Sources have said Heekin is in negotiations with WPP Group about succeeding Ed Meyer as worldwide CEO at Grey [Adweek Online, July 12].
Grey and WPP representatives declined comment.
At Euro RSCG, four senior executives have been named to oversee operations: Mercedes Erra and Stéphane Foulks have been named co-chairmen, David Jones was installed as CEO and Rémi Babinet was named chief creative officer.
