Minneapolis shop Fallon McElligott had a nifty idea when it moved into its current offices, but now the shop can’t seem to back out of it. Three years ago, when the office building was under construction, the decorator suggested they put a Porsche in the lobby while the windows had not yet been installed, and there was a crane on the roof. So in it went. Now, if they wanted to get rid of it, since they no longer have the account, it would have to go out in pieces. But they have decided to keep it. Says Fred Senn, director of account services: ‘It still says a lot about our culture . . . performance, perfection of design . . . it is a work of art, really.’
