BOSTON Havas today reported a nearly 6% decrease in annual revenue to $2.15 billion for 2002 compared with last year, based on the current rate of exchange.

The Paris-based holding company, parent to the Arnold, Euro RSCG and Media Planning agency networks, notched a particularly soft performance in North America, where its revenue in 2002 dipped more than 7% to approximately $938 million compared with 2001. The company’s showing in Europe wasn’t much better, as its revenue in that zone dipped nearly 6% to slightly more than $1 billion.
