Hauser Entices Customers to Coastal Bank

ATLANTA The Hauser Group recently launched its first promotional work for Coastal Bank touting the ease of switching institutions and earning a chance to win a free kayak.

The Savannah, Ga., shop’s promotional campaign debuted Friday and encompasses print ads, billboards, radio and in-store displays. Print work communicates the bank’s new tagline “Switch and be happy,” and encourages customers to use the simple “Switch Kit” for an easy transition, the agency said.

“The look and feel of the ads had to be consistent with the bank’s message and concept of a new practical and friendly attitude,” said Derrick Ogilvie, creative director of The Hauser Group. “The kayak component fits well with the coastal image of the bank.”

Coastal Bank, headquartered in Savannah, has five branch offices along the Georgia shore region including Hinesville. It also operates a full-service mortgage company, Coastal Mortgage Co., and Coastal Insurance Co., both in Savannah.

Hauser’s radio ads are running on local AM and FM stations including WAEV-FM, WBMQ-AM and WIXV-FM. Spots will air through October, and the kayak giveaway promotion will run in each of the five area branches through November, the agency said.

According to the shop, print ads reinforce the bank’s coastal roots and friendly image. One reads, “Trust us, your old bank won’t even know you’re gone,” and another, “Free checking is just the start of the freedom.”

Campaign spending was not disclosed.
