NEW YORK-Pet products marketer Hartz Mountain has awarded its estimated $10-15 million advertising account to Kirshenbaum Bond & Partners here.
The Secaucus, N.J.-based company conducted a two-month agency review involving Kirshenbaum and incumbent of three years Gianettino & Meredith, Short Hills, N.J., which was an automatic finalist. Gotham in New York and Martin/Williams in Minneapolis were also contenders.
Kirshenbaum will handle creative duties, media planning and buying, public relations and packaging design.
“We will be offering a fully integrated service to Hartz Mountain, including exploring opportunities for Web site development and perhaps print advertising,” said Jonathan Bond, co-chairman of the shop.
