Hart-Boillot Adds Stow Acres

BOSTON Hart-Boillot said it has been tapped to handle advertising by Stow Acres Country Club.

The scope of the work includes print and radio ads as well as collateral materials. The Waltham, Mass.-based independent agency has already begun work for the client.

The business was won without a review. Hart-Boillot is Stow’s first agency.

“We don’t need smoke and mirrors to sell our product,” said Anne Spencer, marketing manager at Stow Acres. “We simply need help telling our story the best way possible, consistently, to the right people, without spending a fortune.” The budget was not disclosed but is likely in the six-figure range.

“Clearly, Stow Acres has a lot to offer: two 18-hole courses, a top-rated golf school, friendly service, excellent facilities and a beautiful setting,” said Jeff Abbott, account director at Hart-Boillot. “The problem was that they had been trying to do too much on their own and the results weren’t strengthening the brand.”

Hart-Boillot’s client roster includes Harvard University, Fairchild Semiconductor and Aviat Aircraft.
