AUSTIN, TEXAS – A Texas agency has tapped into Lone Star transplant Southwestern Bell, creating the first crack in the armor incumbent D’Arcy Masius Benton & Bowles/St. Louis has around the $70-million account. Austin agency GSD&M last week won the estimated $2-3-million account for Southwestern Bell Messaging Services (SWBMS), a San Antonio-based subsidiary of Southwestern Bell whose sole product is CallNotes, a residential and small-business voice-messaging service.
