NEW YORK WPP Group’s Grey Global Group and Interpublic Group said they have settled a lawsuit Grey filed in September against IPG, its Foote Cone & Belding agency and that shop’s worldwide CEO, Steve Blamer.

In papers filed in State Supreme Court here, Grey had alleged that the three defendants were in violation of Blamer’s contractual obligations to the company. (Blamer, who resigned as CEO of Grey North America in January 2004, had to sit out for six months to fulfill his contract before joining FCB in June.)
