Grey Goose Taps Wolfe/Doyle

LOS ANGELES The Sidney Frank Importing Co. has selected Wolfe/Doyle to handle a TV creative assignment for its Grey Goose vodka, an agency representative said.

The shop won the project following a review that also included finalists Dailey & Associates in West Hollywood, Calif.; Team One in El Segundo, Calif.; Goodby, Silverstein & Partners in San Francisco; and one undisclosed New York agency. Billings were undisclosed. Grey Goose, which has handled creative in-house, spent approximately $10 million on advertising in 2002.

Wolfe/Doyle is charged with creating a 30-second TV spot to run on the Golf Channel. Sources have said the TV work will likely retain the client’s “best-in-class” positioning [Adweek, Jan. 6]. A Wolfe/Doyle representative said the Grey Goose account will handled out of the shop’s New York office. KSL Media in New York handles media buying for the client in New Rochelle, N.Y.

SFIC representatives declined comment.
