NEW YORK TBWA\Chiat\Day won the grand Effie at the 2005 New York American Marketing Association’s Effie Awards on Tuesday, for its Apple iPod “Silhouette” campaign.

The New York shop won a total of seven Effies. In addition to winning the grand, it won two gold Effies for iPod and one for Nissan. The shop picked up silvers for adidas and Infiniti and a bronze for Nextel.

Omnicom Group received the most gold awards of all the holding companies, winning 11.
