Gotham CFO Shifts to Roberts & Tarlow

NEW YORK Omnicom Group’s Roberts & Tarlow has recruited Gotham CFO Graham Bibby to become chief operating officer, said Stone Roberts, president and CEO of the New York shop.

Bibby’s post is new and combines the duties of former CFO Carolyn Hauppman with broader operational tasks such as managing work flow, information technology and office services, Roberts said. Hauppman is leaving the agency to become a full-time mother; Bibby, who reports to Roberts, starts Aug. 15.

“We are excited about adding Graham to our team as we continue to expand and bring in new business,” said Roberts. “This move will also allow me to focus on strategic development and expanding our service offerings.”

Roberts & Tarlow, a unit of Omnicom’s DDB, handles U.S. creative duties on Johnson & Johnson’s Neutrogena, which DDB handles outside the U.S. Other agency clients include 3M Scotchgard, Lactalis USA and Stony Brook University.

Bibby’s CFO duties at Gotham will be absorbed by Pam Walsh, a top financial and accounting executive, while the Interpublic Group shop searches for a successor, said chairman Gunnar Wilmot. Gotham hopes to fill the post by next month.
