AOL Time Warner Investments, a venture capital unit of the world’s largest media and Internet company, said Tuesday that it has made an investment in GoldPocket Interactive, maker of software and other technology that enables interactive TV.

The parties declined to disclose the size of the investment, but insiders said it’s a cash investment in the seven-figure range. GoldPocket provides HBO and TBS Superstation — both AOL Time Warner properties — with interactive programming that uses GoldPocket’s EventMatrix technology.
