NEW YORK Alan Jurmain, the longtime head of the media department at IPG’s Lowe is leaving “to pursue some other opportunities,” U.S. CEO Tom Bernardin said on Wednesday. Another Lowe veteran, director of broadcast buying Elissa Goldman, who becomes evp, director of media services, will succeed him.

Jurmain, 47, will remain at the New York shop for another month to ease the transition. After that, he plans to take some time off before plotting his next move.
