GM’s Onstar Gets ‘Documercial’

General Motors has expanded its OnStar TV campaign, which features real-life stories of people using the driver-assistance service, into a 30-minute “documercial” to air on cable networks. The effort, titled “Tales From the Road,” began airing this weekend on HGTV, The Food Network, Discovery Channel and TLC. The work is from IPG’s Campbell-Ewald in Warren, Mich.
