GlobalHue Latino Names President

NEW YORK Veteran advertising executive Linda De Jesus-Cutler will join the newly created GlobalHue Latino as president, chairman and CEO Don Coleman said today.

De Jesus-Cutler will work with Laura Marella, named vice chairman of GlobalHue Latino Nov. 16, to provide strategic leadership of the company’s Hispanic business.

“Linda brings unparalleled expertise of the Hispanic market, leadership skills and a strong vision that will complement and enhance GlobalHue Latino,” Marella said in a statement. “It was important for us to bring in one of the leading Hispanic marketing professionals to assist in our efforts to drive new business and strategically direct clients.”

De Jesus-Cutler assumes her new post at GlobalHue Latino following a successful career as president and COO of The Bravo Group, where she helped to build the organization into one of the most respected Hispanic ad agencies. She led new business development, winning clients including Wrigley, Banco Popular, Mazda, Toys “R” Us, Miller Brewing Co. and AstraZeneca; and spearheaded an award-winning effort for the U.S. Postal Service.

She is a 2002 inductee of the American Advertising Federation’s Advertising Hall of Achievement.

De Jesus-Cutler’s appointment is the latest in a series of key management announcements made in recent days by GlobalHue, which said Nov. 15 that it would divide its business operations into four separate agencies devoted to its expertise in the areas of Hispanic, African American, Asian and the new general market that increasingly is influenced by multiethnic trends.

The agencies will operate under the holding company GlobalHue, which will share resources such as HR, finance and legal and operate as GlobalHue Latino, GlobalHue African American, GlobalHue Asian Pacific Islander and GlobalHue Next.
