Former Publicis Public Relations president Susan Lomelino has been appointed the new principal of the public relations unit at Gleason Calise Associates here.
Lomelino will be in charge of an independent division within the agency that chief executive officer Charlie Calise hopes will be the basis of seamless advertising and public relations assignments for certain clients.
“This is very much in keeping with our strategy,” said Calise. The shop will also maintain separate public relations and advertising clients, he added.
Lomelino was a longtime public relations official at Publicis, having worked with Calise when both were at that agency in the 1980s.
