Bush. Lady garden. Bikini area or, if you’re feeling particularly bold, cooch. Most women can produce a lengthy list of cutesy aliases for their pubic area at a moment’s notice.

However, there’s one moniker that doesn’t get the love, attention and respect it so rightfully deserves: pubic. After all, that is what it’s called. But an independent study conducted by Gillette Venus finds that only 18% of women actually refer to it by its proper name, while a staggering 82% opts for a more covert go-by.
