NEW YORK Lowe has promoted worldwide account director Nigel Gilbert to succeed Ian Creasey as president of the Interpublic Group network’s Asia-Pacific region.

Gilbert, who manages the global HSBC account out of Lowe in London, will move to Singapore to assume the new role. At the same time, Creasey will head to London to become president of Lowe’s Europe, Middle East and Africa operations [Adweek Online, Nov. 5].

The moves, which were triggered by the resignation of worldwide president Tim Lindsay last month, take effect in January.
