GDR Merges With Kaleidoscope, Changes Name

Gabriel Diericks Raz-idlo has promoted one of its own to partner, merged with a crosstown agency and changed its name.

The Minneapolis shop merged with two-year-old agency Kaleidoscope. Kaleidoscope’s founder, Jim Bendt, will join the former-GDR as president and partner.

Meanwhile, Doug deGrood, a former associate creative director at GDR, was promoted to creative director and partner. Former partner Marianne Diericks is leaving the agency. Mark Razidlo will continue in a more hands-on role, according to Gabriel.
