GdB Wins Gold’n Plump Poultry

CHICAGO Gold’n Plump Poultry has awarded its advertising account to Gabriel deGrood Bendt in Minneapolis after a review of undisclosed advertising agencies.

“The meat case is a very dynamic, competitive environment and we felt it was time to take a fresh look at all of our marketing activities,” said Julie Berling, senior marketing manager for the St. Cloud, Minn., company, in a statement. “GdB demonstrated they understood the issues affecting our business and presented new ways to communicate our point-of-difference that makes our marketing dollars work harder.”

Gold’n Plump’s previous agency was Omnicom’s Martin/Williams in Minneapolis. The two parted ways earlier this year, according to GdB.

Billings for the assignment were not disclosed. Gold’n Plump spent less than $1 million on advertising last year, according to TNS Media Intelligence/CMR.
