Garavalia Brings Account Planning To St. Louis Shop

Account planning has come to Rodgers Townsend with the addition of Linda Garavalia, most recently of Young & Rubicam.

Garavalia joins the St. Louis shop as director of account planning, a new position. She will not build a staff but plans to be involved with all of the agency’s clients, which include SBC Communications, Anheuser-Busch and Ameren Corp.

Garavalia had freelanced for the past couple of years after moving back to her home state from New York, where she had had a seven year career at Y&R, parting as senior vice president, consumer insights.

“I really wanted to find an agency in St. Louis that was like a New York agency” in terms of national clients and smart creative, Garavalia said.
