NEW YORK – Fuji Photo Film is kicking off its World Cup USA 1994 soccer sponsorship this month with a handful of promotions designed to boost repeat film sales and create maximum exposure. The company also is tying into Soccer USA with a grass roots program called ‘Kids in Gear,’ in which Fuji will donate free equipment to local soccer clubs in exchange for proofs-of-purchase from Fuji amateur films. This month Fuji film will begin carrying the ‘Kids in Gear’ emblem along with the World Cup logo.
