CHICAGO – Four Midwest agencies and one West Coast shop are among the finalists in Brown-Forman’s $5-million review for its Korbel champagne and brandy, Bolla and Felter wines.
Chicago agencies Bayer Bess Vanderwarker; Eisaman, Johns & Laws; Minneapolis shop Carmichael Lynch; Milwaukee-based Laughlin/Constable; and Hal Riney & Partners/San Francisco are finalists.
Brown-Forman, which had been using FCB/Leber Katz Partners/N.Y., dumped the agency last month and sent questionnaires to 13 agencies.
While FCB may have lost some liquor business, it is still the front-runner in Hiram Walker & Sons’ $8-million Beefeater Gin review.
