MELBOURNE – Former D’Arcy Masius Benton & Bowles managing director John Hall is suing the agency for wrongful dismissal and seeking $176,800 in damages. Hall has filed a writ in the Victorian Supreme Court alleging DMB&B breached his employment contract which required 12 months written notice by both parties before termination. He is also claiming long service leave, having been with the agency for eight years. Hall was dismissed last month during a meeting with John Ferries, DMB&B president, Asia/Pacific and Latin America.
