NEW YORK Colin Hearn, the former chief executive of 141 Worldwide, on Monday will join Publicis Dialog in the newly created post of global CEO, the company said.

The 18-year 141 veteran resigned from the London-based marketing services unit in July as its parent, Cordiant Communications Group, was preparing to be bought by WPP Group for $16 million.

One impetus for CCG’s sale was 141’s May loss of the $30 million Allied Domecq business, which has since been absorbed by Publicis Groupe’s Publicis Worldwide and Publicis Dialog.
