Food For Thought to Season Dakota’s Sales

DALLAS Food For Thought has been hired by Lincoln Plaza Restaurants to promote its flagship Dakota’s Steakhouse, the agency said.

Lincoln Plaza Restaurants, based in Dallas, operates Dakota’s Steakhouse and two other local dining concepts. Dakota’s is a four-and-a-half-star, white tablecloth restaurant in downtown Dallas, the company said.

Dakota’s recently launched a rebranding effort to position itself as the premier steakhouse in central Dallas. Built below street level at Akard and Ross, the steakhouse features a subterranean patio with hanging garden flora and a large cascading waterfall.

“Dallas has become a very competitive restaurant environment for high-end dining,” said Ken Murray, controller for Lincoln Plaza Restaurants. “Food For Thought can help us get the word out to an audience who will rediscover a fine restaurant that’s been around more than 20 years.”

Food For Thought is the Dallas food-marketing group of Sanders-Ream Advertising and Marketing.
