Omnicom Group’s Fleishman-Hillard, accused of overbilling the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power in excess of $4.2 million from May 1999 to 2004, said it would pay $4.5 million to settle all civil claims. Fleishman also will waive payment of approximately $1.3 million the utility owed from 2003-04. John Stodder, a former Fleishman svp, has pleaded not guilty on 11 counts of wire fraud. His trial begins in August.
