DALLAS A new public relations boutique spun off from Fleishman-Hillard will cater to clients seeking to build a brand identity for new consumer products or services, top executives said.

Larry Meltzer and Robert Martin, formerly senior partners in the Dallas office of Fleishman-Hillard, are founding partners of BlueCurrent Public Relations. The new Dallas venture comes five years after the partners merged their Meltzer & Martin Public Relations firm with F-H.

With BlueCurrent, Meltzer and Martin said they want to bridge the traditional division between advertising and public relations.
